Standard PTS

Our standard PTS vehicle has space for a stretcher, wheelchair position and seats. However you choose to configure the layout of the vehicle, this ambulance has ample passenger capacity. With a seamless lining and lightweight non-slip floor, this modern PTS vehicle is designed to be fully wiped down for optimum infection control.

Storage for a folded wheelchair and carry chair in addition to lockers and clamp boxes provides plenty of space for crew to keep the vehicle tidy. The interior lighting and temperature control creates a comfortable environment for passengers.

High Dependency Vehicle

Our high dependency units (HDU) are designed for patient transport between hospitals, GP referrals, repatriation and event cover. These stretcher-capable PTS vehicles have a solid bulkhead for patient privacy and the safety of the passengers and crew in transit.

Fitted with blue lights and sirens, Cartwright’s HDUs can react quickly in emergency situations. Each has a trauma panel with three-pin power sockets, an inverter and a piped oxygen facility. There is ample storage for a folded wheelchair, carry chair, PAT slide, scoop and spinal board.

Small and medium WAVs

Our range of wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV) are ideal for transporting smaller numbers of passengers when you don’t need an ambulance. Built on a Fiat Talento and a Ford Transit Custom, these vehicles have room for seated passengers and a wheelchair.

As a Motability approved supplier of WAVs we have a proven track record of building quality conversions that stand the test of time. Fitted with four point wheelchair restraints, the Talento and Custom have a lowered floor with a manual folding ramp.
